Feeling the crunch? Don't sell your yacht - charter her

In a difficult financial climate, many yachtsmen are tempted to sell their yachts into a buyer's market because they can no longer afford to keep them. One south coast yacht charter company, whose business has been growing steadily for years, has a solution: let them charter your yacht.

This turns a revenue sink into a potential revenue source without having to take the drastic step of selling. When the economic clouds have blown over, she's yours again.

Solent Yacht Charter, of Haslar Marina in Gosport, is looking for yachts 'of the highest calibre', meaning relatively new or especially well looked after. They promise 'the highest maintenance standards' for your yacht and when you want to take her out, you can book in advance or, if she has not been chartered, take her out on a last-minute whim.

It's an interesting option for those struggling financially to stay afloat. If it's an idea that appeals to you, talk to Steve Tyas at Solent Yacht Charter on 023 9260 2708 or email info@solentyachtcharter.com
